BizActions Respects Your Privacy
The purpose of this information is to allow the Sponsor organization to review the reading patterns of its members and thereby offer suggestions that will enhance the financial success of the member as well as his or her organization.when applicable. BizActions Respects Your Privacy
This Policy will be continually assessed against new technologies, business practices and our Sponsors' needs. BizActions provides to you, subject to the BizActions Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, which now will be considered part of the Terms of Service. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy. If we do change or revise, we will provide notification of the change at least thirty business days before the change takes effect and will include directions for how you can respond to the revisions and or change. If the change is less restrictive, you will have the option to not agree with said change and we will be bound by the Privacy Policy exclusive of the change.
Collected Information
BizActions is the owner of Sponsor information collected on the BizActions Web Site. BizActions collects information from our Sponsors at several different points on our Web Site.
We require our Sponsors to provide us information. We ask for contact and account information, such as name, address, email address, phone number, facsimile number, number of people in your organization, in addition to financial billing information as in address or credit card number if applicable. All information collected from the Sponsor organization is subject to BizActions Employees and Independent Contractors Confidentiality Agreement.
Should a Sponsor originate from the marketing efforts of certain other web sites, Sponsor information is shared with such other entity but not email addresses or client list.
Collection of Email Addresses
In order to use the BizActions system, a Sponsor organization collects email addresses from their clients, prospects, and referral sources. This information is then uploaded to the BizActions System for subsequent distribution of BizActions emails on behalf of the Sponsor organization. When a member of the Sponsor organization receives the email from BizActions, they have the ability to update their profile by adding personal and business information to the BizActions database. All of this information is optional for the user.
BizActions does not distribute, sell or share Sponsor provided email addresses.
Orders
We do not sell information directly to the members of our Sponsors. Information is collected from our Sponsors since they are our paying customers. This information is used to process payments and do the bookkeeping for their accounts. We do not utilize Sponsor information for any purpose other than servicing them as a BizActions client.
Confidential Information
As used herein, the term "Confidential Information" shall mean (a) any material provided to a party either prior to or following the date hereof (b) the identity of any Third Party or other customers of either Sponsors or BizActions. Each of Sponsor and Biz Actions agree to hold the Confidential Information in strict confidence and shall not (a) copy, reproduce, electronically transmit, to any third party; (b) use the Confidential Information in any manner detrimental to the other party; provided, Sponsor and BizActions may transmit Confidential Information to those individuals within their respective organizations who are actively and directly participating in the administration of this Agreement and who are directed to comply with the terms of this paragraph or as may be required by law. Without prejudice to the other rights and remedies otherwise available at law or in equity, the provider of the Confidential Information shall be entitled to equitable relief by way of injunction for any breach or threatened breach of any of the provisions of this paragraph.
Information Use
When members (clients, prospects, referral sources and team members) of Sponsor firms click on the "Full Article" button contained within each article delivered in the emails or "More Information" with an announcement or click on any banner ad, the click information about that member's reading profile is available to the Sponsor organization in the form of reports. The purpose of this information is to allow the Sponsor organization to review the reading pattern of its members and thereby enhance it?s marketing efforts to those members.
The reports also summarize this information for quantitative and statistical use. The purpose is to determine trends or patterns in articles being read. The primary information presented to Sponsors is email address, telephone number, type of email, articles read, banners clicked, organization, category the articles belongs to and Point of Contact within the Sponsor organization.
Profile
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or Sponsor Reports, to create a database of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual members that details their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the users personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to assist Sponsor organizations in their communications and marketing to a user. We do not share your profile with other third parties.
Cookies
As part of our desire to offer and provide customizable and personalized services, BizActions uses "cookies" to secure your transaction activities and enhance the performance of the Site and the service. A cookie is a small identifier data that is sent to your browser from a BizActions web server and stored on your computer?s hard drive. BizActions uses session ID cookies. For this type of cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Generally, BizActions may use cookies to: (a) remind it who you are and to access your account information in order to deliver to you a better and more personalized service and (b) estimate its audience size. By determining the nature and extent of repeat usage, BizActions will be able to (c) target information to you based upon your interests and behaviors and those of your clients and (d) measure certain traffic patterns to understand how user?s habits are similar or different from one another, all so that BizActions may improve its level of Service.
Security
BizActions take every precaution to protect our user?s information. When Sponsors submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected online and off-line.
Your BizActions account information and profile are unique to you and password protected so that, other than BizActions Employees who need to know and your Sponsor organization, only you have access to this information. For security purposes, online orders, including name, address, and credit card information, are encrypted with SSL or Secure Socket Layer technology.
While BizActions uses SSL encryption to protect online orders, we also strive to do everything in our power to ensure and protect user information off-line. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our customer support representative or our invoicing clerk) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter the password to re-gain access to user information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our user?s information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. All these safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of data.
Correcting and Updating Your Information
If a Sponsor?s personally identifiable information changes (such as telephone number, email address, postal address or zip code), or if a user no longer desire?s our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate Sponsor?s personally identifiable information. This can done at the BizActions web site by selecting the "Contact Us" tab and indicating the updated information.
Should the Sponsor organization elect to terminate their service with BizActions, BizActions will place the Sponsor organization on hold for thirty days. At the end of the prescribed period, BizActions will delete all email addresses and client lists from databases relevant to that Sponsor organization.
