Greg Miller accentuates the positive

Yes, CPAs deal with thousands of regulations, and more are added every year.  Yes, it takes a massive amount of work to track and disseminate these accounting and tax regulations. Yes, most people would love to "simplify."

Greg Miller doesn't mind.  In his usual way, Greg takes the positive approach.  He believes that new standards create opportunities to better understand his clients' operations.  And lately, he likes the opportunities afforded by the new fraud prevention step in SAS 99 that requires an auditor to personally interview several members of an audited company, including both management and administrative individuals.  Greg admits he is a "people person." He appreciates the one-on-one opportunity to clarify the internal control aspects of a client's business and to discover the issues, concerns and items that might place a company's assets and reputation at risk.  He puts together the bits and pieces from these interviews and uses them to audit his clients more effectively.

Greg has practiced in accounting for more than seventeen years and with DMLO for eleven. He is a Senior Manager. Greg's experience has carried him from the client side of the desk to the service side.  His current emphasis is handling A-133 audits of not-for-profit organizations.  Greg is also the go-to person at DMLO for Arbitrage Rebate Calculations relating to Tax Exempt Bonds.  Greg remains involved in the for-profit arena as he has throughout his career and currently works with manufacturers.

Greg is a regular golfer and he rarely plays alone.  It's a good time to catch up with people.  His other most important gauge of personal success is his family.  He is married and has three children.
