Does your business have a Web site? Do you use it to recruit potential employees? Here are some items to consider when evaluating your recruiting page:

  1. Provide details! Generic information about career opportunities won't cut it these days. You have a much better chance of recruiting quality individuals if you give detailed descriptions of the specific career opportunities that are available.
  2. Provide more contact information. Many sites have just a generic email address for all correspondence. Providing individual email addresses and phone number extensions adds a personal touch that many new recruits will appreciate.
  3. Use real life examples to back up claims made about your business. Your business is the best place to work...give examples of why this is the case.
  4. Consider using technology to the fullest by providing podcasts or streaming video of management and employee testimonials. Perhaps a few customer testimonials would also provide the "real life" examples potential employees are looking for.
