Joe Legel always asks "why"

A quote attributed to several famous people says, "Some people see things as they are and ask why.  Others dream things that never were and ask why not."

Even so, "why" is still a very good question for the person who must verify the reasonableness of financial statements or prepare tax returns with a large amount of tax due.  Joe Legel just doesn't like to take things at face value.

Whether he is just starting to work with a client, or continuing a long association, Joe never stops asking "why."  Sometimes the "why" questions guide him as he straightens up an accounting system for a growing company.  Other times he asks "why" and discovers substantial tax savings for his client.  His clients just know that Joe will keep on asking, and keep on listening.

Joe has been in the accounting field for more than nineteen years and with DMLO for three years.  He concentrates in working with manufacturing and distribution companies and providing them with accounting, audit and tax services.  Joe spent seven years as a controller in industry before returning to public accounting and he enjoys the challenge of cleaning up financial records and setting up accounting procedures for companies that are growing too fast to keep up.

Joe is a fishing enthusiast and makes sure he schedules some bass fishing time during the season.  He and his wife make good use of their house at the lake, which they finished building last summer.
