American Cancer Society's Relay for Life

 

This year DMLO will be working with Boy Scout Troop 71 of Middletown, KY to participate in and raise money for, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  The event is to be held May 18th and 19th, from 5:30pm to 9:30am at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park.

 

Relay For LifeŽ (RFL) is a fun-filled overnight event designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer in our community. At the event, we celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society in its mission to work together towards a future where cancer is no longer a major health issue.

This was last year's walk.  DMLO and the Boy Scouts will look different this year.  The Boy Scout Troop will be "camping" and cooking over a fire.  Stop by to visit and see the Campfire Cobbler they fix on Friday night!
