Sherry Michau prefers home runs

An avid baseball fan, Sherry Michau knows the language and the strategies of the game, and how they can be applied to just about any situation.  Take Sherry's tax work, for instance. Tax return preparation can be compared to a series of base hits, a well-placed bunt and a few surprise plays to win the game one run at a time.  On the other hand, a nice straight-forward home run can decide the game quickly.  Sherry prefers going for a decisive finish, putting together a nice straight-forward tax return in a day so she can move on to the next game.

Sherry has been in accounting for eleven years and with DMLO for three.  The majority of her work is individual tax returns, and she also handles returns for trusts, corporations and partnerships and other types of organizations.  In her past work, Sherry also gained experience with sales tax audits for the State of Florida.

Sherry grew up and attended college in Florida, which is where her family still lives.  She and her husband are both baseball fans.  Even though they root for different teams, they still love to watch the game together.
