Bob Daugherty works in tech ‘n color

There is a Japanese business principle that requires all top managers to be able to perform any job in a company before being promoted to management.  It applies a little common sense with a very long-term strategy.

Bob Daugherty took the same broad path to specialization.  From college studies in accounting and data processing, to jobs such as legal administrative assistant and office manager, Bob has built his broad understanding of business.  Today Bob focuses on his true calling, managing office systems and computer technology, and all his business experiences are paying off. 

Bob has earned numerous certifications as he built his technology specialization.  He holds three CNE (Certified Netware Engineer) certifications and six CNA (Certified Netware Administrator) certifications.  Bob holds an "A+" hardware certification and is an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional).  Bob has served the technology needs of DMLO for almost eight years.  He also provides consulting to clients for accounting system software.  He says that the best thing about technology management is that no two days are ever alike, and every day is a challenge.

Outside work, Bob is an expert in a different field.  For more than fifteen years, Bob has raised prize winning rabbits, traveling to shows around the region to earn Best of Breed and several First Place ribbons at the Kentucky State Fair.  In the last three years, Bob has added another, very colorful, creature to his menagerie – peacocks – and he also loves to do colorful landscaping.  Bob hails from New York State but calls Kentucky his home.
