Two auditors from Stambaugh Ness recently attended a training session on using International Standards on Auditing. Stambaugh Ness Supervisor Ernest F. Malkin, CPA and Principal Richard C. Hogentogler, CPA, attended the event held in Scottsdale, AZ. 

Stambaugh Ness has invested its resources in this initiative because international standards are used in Europe, India and numerous other places around the world. Many local companies with subsidiaries or foreign ownership are required to report using International Standards. 

Stambaugh Ness is a member of INPACT Audit (IA). This organization was created to assist independent accounting firms as they conduct business across international boundaries. IA is dedicated to providing quality transnational audit and assurance services through the international auditing and quality control standards and the code of ethics issued by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
