Yes... It's LIN-dey...

"For some reason, people cannot get my name right, so they call me Lindsey all the time," notes Lindey Vial, who was born and lives in Hanover, and seems to take it all in stride. But it's an ironic detail for someone who has such a detailed job. Lindey joined the Pension Audit Team at Stambaugh Ness in 2005 and is also involved in working with payroll taxes and accounting software.

In addition to joining her daughter Mallory, age 3 (pictured at right), in the sandbox, in biking and at her swing set in the evenings, Lindey continues her interest in volleyball by participating in various summer and fall volleyball leagues. Lindey, a former scholarship athlete in volleyball, lettered in the sport all four years that she attended Millersville University.

She also enjoys watching sports, especially football, and carries her love of the outdoors with her to family campfires.

Although Lindey is not a collector, she enjoys the numerous music boxes given to her for every birthday and some special occasions by her great-aunt. The only pet she ever had was a carnival fish. When growing up, Lindey says she wanted to be "a lot of things," including a police officer like her dad, a babysitter, and a teacher. "It wasn't until high school when I was introduced to the wonderful world of accounting," she says.
