Expanding Forensic Accounting & Litigation Support Practice at SLGG

 

Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP (SLGG) is pleased to announce the addition of David B. Connelly, CPA, JD to the Forensic Accounting, Business Valuation & Litigation Support practice of the firm.

 

David Connelly has 25 years of collective financial investigation, audit and legal experience.  During the past 12 years, his practice has focused on forensic investigations and other financial litigation matters.  Mr. Connelly has testified as an expert witness on accounting and financial issues in both federal and state courts.  Mr. Connelly's litigation engagements have concerned financial disputes involving fraud, misappropriation, breach of contract and fiduciary duty, business torts, accountant's malpractice, unfair business practices, preferential transfers, alter ego, intellectual property infringement, antitrust, insurance coverage, FAR cost allowance, entertainment participation accounting, and other business related claims, in both civil and criminal actions.

 

Mr. Connelly has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution matters, including initial case assessment, development and preparation of discovery plan and requests, deposition assistance, complex data management and analysis, substantiation and critique of financial claims, damages analysis, review and critique of opposing expert opinions and reports, communication of findings through reports, exhibits and expert testimony, and trial assistance.  Mr. Connelly began his legal career as an associate attorney for a civil litigation practice.

 

Mr. Connelly joins Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP from Connelly & Associates, a practice that he founded and directed for the past five and a half years.  Previously, Mr. Connelly directed a national law firm's in-house financial litigation consulting practice in Los Angeles, and served as the managing director of a regional CPA firm's Los Angeles office, with oversight of the firm's corporate wide financial audit practice.
