York County is quite a distance from his birthplace, Staten Island, New York in more ways than one, but Adam Cusumano (AKA "Cus Cus") seems to be pretty happy with how he ended up. Adam, a Senior Accountant and Small Business Consultant in SN's York Office, is the oldest of three children. He is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College in Florida.

Since it's summertime, Adam is in his element. His interests in life include baseball, football, golfing, paintball, volleyball and tennis. Adam says "I love sports and play softball in a church league, paintball with friends, tennis with my wife, and golf with only those who I know aren't very good - or are extremely friendly and won't make fun of my lack of skills." "Recently," he adds, "I began playing ping-pong, and I like it because it is less strenuous than tennis."

In addition to visiting baseball stadiums, Adam also likes to tour different cities in the United States, especially those located along the coastlines. "I would love to visit Italy someday," he says.

Although he no longer considers himself a collector, Adam says "I'm a sucker for New York Yankee memorabilia, and I have managed to keep most of the baseball cards I collected when I was a kid."

Adam is enjoying this summer in particular, because "As a new home owner... I like the summer because of the lower gas bills!" Adam and his wife, Hannah, also recently became pet owners and enjoy taking their new mini-dachshund, Cloey, for walks around their East York neighborhood.

Adam's list of "wannabe" careers while he was growing up is fairly long: "I thought it would be cool to fly airplanes, be a cop, or a baseball player. At one point, I wanted to be a chef, but I think that was because my mom was a vegetarian, and I was getting tired of eating spinach pie!"

"I really didn't think about accounting too much until right before college," he notes. "I am happy and content with my choice of profession."

Adam says his favorite expression is a Proverb: This poor man cried and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. "Some think it is depressing," he adds, "but I always thought it was true especially in difficult times of life."

Now Adam's grateful software clients know where he gets his "cool" during their times of stress.
