What a lot of entries!

Everywhere you looked at the Kentucky State Fair were shining examples of the best efforts from folks all over Kentucky.  The DMLO entries competed with the best of the best from around the state, and our co-workers did very well indeed.  In animals and livestock, both Bob Daugherty and Kortney Ryan took home blue ribbons.  In culinary arts, Stephanie Ramper's son, Willie, won the blue in the Spam Cook-off, which means that his recipe will go on to compete in the national Spam Cook-off finals.  And Ruth Ann Judd brought home a third place ribbon for her raspberry lemon loaf cake.

We have also learned since the last article that there are usually several others at DMLO who enter their work in the Kentucky State Fair, but this year they did not participate.

All in all, a good time was had by all.  Congratulations to the DMLO Winners!!
