McKonly & Asbury LLP  is a firm on the move!  Fresh off being named a Best Place to Work in PA for the fifth straight year, the Central PA based accounting and consulting firm has opened two new offices outside South Central Pennsylvania.  The first to open is the firm's new Lehigh Valley Office, located in suburban Allentown at the junction of Route 100 and Interstate 78.  The firm has also opened an office in Hunt Valley, Maryland, just outside the Baltimore city limits.

"We're committed to growth as a strategic approach to doing business.  We believe it provides us challenging career opportunities for our team members.  That helps us attract great talent and provide great service.  As we gain more opportunities beyond our local region, we continually evaluate where new office locations will help us to better serve our clients.  Allentown and Baltimore are growing areas, and we are finding great receptiveness in the marketplace to our philosophy of excellent service from talented, engaged professionals," said Terry Harris, Managing Partner.

McKonly & Asbury serves clients with operations and facilities across the globe, but concentrated within the MidAtlantic.  These new office locations provide a closer proximity to client locations and to employee's hometowns.  For example, following the acquisition of Financial Outsourcing Solutions – the firm's banking internal audit practice section – the firm had dozens of clients in Lehigh Valley, suburban Philadelphia, Northern and Central New Jersey, and the Hudson River Valley.  Four members of the FOS team lived within the Lehigh Valley and were commuting to the firm's Lancaster Office when not on client site.  "Our Lehigh Valley office gives our employees better quality of life in the form of shorter commutes.  We have had team members telecommuting from the Baltimore area for almost a year now as well.    We think that opening new offices will lead to better client service.  It also shows our commitment to these markets for the long term.  We're here and we plan to stay," said Harris.

The Firm's Lehigh Valley office is located at 7535 Windsor Drive in Allentown, PA – part of the Iron Run Corporate Center.  The Baltimore Metro Office is at Executive Plaza III, Suite 300, 11350 McCormick Rd, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
