Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP (SLGG) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new partners, Rachel Rico and Harmeet Singh.
Rachel Rico, CPA, has worked in public accounting since 1995 when she joined SLGG in the assurance and advisory department. She works with private companies, including family-owned, professionally managed and private-equity funded companies. Her experience includes assisting companies with mergers and acquisitions, cash flow forecasts, bid rate analysis and overhead analysis. She has worked in a variety of industries including, construction, manufacturing, distribution and service. As part of the firm's in-house training program, Rachel conducts numerous seminars on accounting, auditing and related subjects. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University of Fullerton. Both Harmeet and Rachel are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public accountants. Rachel is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association and Financial Women International.
Harmeet Singh, CPA, is a member of the firm's Assurance and Advisory and Securities Industry Practice Group. He has experience servicing companies in middle-market industries both public and private. His experience includes initial public offerings, secondary offerings, corporate restructurings and, mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has significant knowledge related to SEC filing deadlines and registration requirements including the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) and PCAOB Audit Standards. Harmeet has provided audit and consulting services to companies in a variety of industries including technology, biotechnology, retail, entertainment & media, wholesale/distribution, and manufacturing. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy and Finance from California State University at Northridge.
