Firm Continues Growth With New Hires

We are pleased to announce the addition of four new staff members to the Umbaugh team. A. J. Amspaugh, Ryan K. Fetters, Katie A. Halloran and Josh E. Nifong all began their employment with Umbaugh in July.

A. J. Amspaugh joins the firm as a staff accountant in the Indianapolis office. A. J. is originally from Union City, Indiana. He recently received Bachelor of Science degrees in both accounting and finance from Indiana University – Bloomington.  A. J. served as an intern in the Indianapolis office during the summer of 2006.

Ryan K. Fetters joins the firm as a financial analyst in the Indianapolis office. Ryan is originally from Frankfort, Indiana. He recently received a Master of Public Affairs degree, concentrating in public finance, economic development and policy analysis, from Indiana University – Bloomington. He is also a graduate of Wabash College in Crawfordsville. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked abroad teaching English and he interned with the utilities department for the City of Bloomington.

Katie A. Halloran joins the firm as a financial analyst in the Indianapolis office. Katie is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She recently received a Master of Public Affairs degree, concentrating in public finance and economic development, from Indiana University – Bloomington. She is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Katie formerly worked with a software implementation company and interned with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of South Central Indiana and The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy in Washington, D.C.

Josh E. Nifong joins the firm as a financial analyst in Umbaugh's Plymouth office. Josh is from Warsaw, Indiana. He recently received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Manchester College. Prior to joining the firm, Josh interned with Zimmer Holdings, Inc., located in Warsaw, Indiana. During his internship, Josh performed cost analyses for the cost accounting department and traveled to Los Angeles, Miami and New York City to perform audits at distributor locations. In addition, he also worked in their sales and marketing department.
