Don't let holiday season stress get to you. With all of our ever-increasing demands, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. Sometimes we just need to sit back and take a deep breath. Here are some tips to consider this December to control your stress level.

  • Maintain a positive attitude. A negative approach just makes things worse.
  • Set differences aside. Don't add to the stress level this time of year.
  • Learn to say no. You cannot do it all.
  • Stick to a budget. This will help your stress level this month and possibly the next few months, too.
  • Be realistic. Do not try to do more than is possible.
  • Rest. Get plenty of sleep.
  • Don't forget to exercise. Yes, there is still time available for this.
  • Eat healthy. Don't over do it like your cousin Jack.

Life is not always as wonderful as the end of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life." But with a little thought and planning, this Holiday season could be a less stressful one.
