Marilyn Fromer
Prior to retirement Marilyn had worked as a licensed insurance agent for 13 years with Witkemper Insurance Group. She has also held the position of cost accountant for K B Specialty Foods. She has worked as a payroll clerk, accounts payable clerk and insurance rate clerk. As a teenager in the late 50's she was a waitress at The Seitz's Family  Restaurant on South Franklin Street in Greensburg until she graduated from Greensburg High School in 1959. Her mother and father were a beautician (Margaret's Beauty Shop) and a barber (NuWay Barber Shop) in Greensburg for most of their lives.
She married Norman in 1979 and has 2 children (Debbie Richmond and Jamie Brown) and 3 stepchildren (Amy, Eric, and David). Marilyn also has 4 grandchildren, Derek & Tyler Hunter and Courtney & Caleb Brown and 10 step-grandchildren - Ben, Paige, Brad, Andrew, Brian, Kara, Katie, Jordan, Krista, and Kimberly. Marilyn has 1 brother, Mike Smith, who lives in Greenwood, IN. She likes to read, cook, and do normal Mom & Grandma things. She is very involved with her family.
She is a member of the Greensburg Working Women and has been for many years. She is involved with their programs, primarily the Reality Store, which she co-chaired for several years. She is also a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg and has been for over 50 years.
