Glenn S. Fisher

Glenn is a Principal in the Tax Services Department and is based out of our Fort Lauderdale office. Serving as a technical tax advisor, he focuses on streamlining and minimizing the tax consequences of complex transactional business, including mergers and acquisitions, structuring/restructuring, like-kind exchanges and other real estate dealings, and tax issues related to international operations and foreign transactions. Glenn frequently assists manufacturing companies so that they can maximize the benefits of emerging tax laws and has authored several articles on manufacturing concerns for local publications. He also leads the firm's research and development credits and cost segregation services.

Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Glenn spent nearly ten years with national accounting firms, where he worked with some of the largest publicly-held companies, mid-cap companies, and service companies. Glenn was a manager in the middle-market services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided services to some of the most established law firms in New York and Washington, D.C. and served as a technical resource for partners servicing law firm clients throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

Glenn has contributed to two editions of the annual Law Firm Accounting & Financial Management guide in addition to various other national professional publications. A seminar presenter on tax and consulting services, he is a resource to the media on technical tax issues and has been featured as an expert in the South Florida Business Journal and the Sun-Sentinel, among others. Glenn is also a resource to the South Florida community on disaster recovery matters.

Glenn received his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from New York University – School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rider College. He is licensed as an attorney in New York and New Jersey, as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and is in the process of obtaining his CPA license through the state of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the South Florida Manufacturers Association, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
