Anita Goetz accepts new challenges
After more than fifteen years with DMLO, Anita Goetz has her sights set on a brand new set of challenges. Anita has accepted the position of Legal Administrator at Bubalo, Hiestand & Rotman, a law firm with four partners and about 45 staff. Not only will she face challenges in moving from accounting administration to legal administration, she will also be creating her position as their first administrator.
Jerry Hurt, President and Managing Director of DMLO, commented "We are proud of the professionals who grow and develop at DMLO and then go on to contribute great things wherever they go. There is no greater compliment to the quality of this firm than that our alumni take on important roles in the success of other organizations."
Jerry went on to describe Anita's contributions at DMLO:
"When Anita came to DMLO in November of 1992, she followed our first administrator, Paula Burgess. Anita had several years of experience with a similar sized firm in Cincinnati and brought a new level of professionalism to the position at DMLO. Anita has been perfect over the years because she is always creative with new and fresh ideas. She has been active in local and national CPA administrator groups, serving one term as the national President for the Association of Accounting Administrators. She has the respect of everyone because she is always positive and supportive. I cannot imagine anyone dealing with all of the transitions of new and retiring Directors and the recruiting, scheduling, financial and HR functions for our staff any better than Anita."
As to the timing of the transition, Jerry explained, "DMLO has been in the process of long range planning and we intend to use this time to carefully review our administrative structure over the next several months. We want to be sure to put together the right person and responsibilities to best serve the firm for many years to come."
From all of us at DMLO, Congratulations and best wishes to Anita!
