Systems Spring Cleaning
While some companies can run several years without computer or network issues, others are not so fortunate and need technical support for their computer systems. As your network is an extremely important part of your business, you should be proactive in maintaining its daily operations and future continuance.
Has your company noticed a slow-down in performance, where previously things were running significantly quicker? You may be in need of a Spring Cleaning. This would entail actions taken on the PCs (Personal Computers) and network systems that could include; deletion of temporary files, defragmentation of the hard drive, examination of available RAM (Random Access Memory) and the appropriate sizing of the Page File and other system settings should be adjusted as well.
Highly recommended is an evaluation of network servers, switches, router and firewall to ensure your system is able to provide the necessary resources and security your company needs moving forward. An assessment of this sort will provide a basis from which you can plan your company's future technology needs. You may be surprised what surfaces from such an assessment, either through enlightenment or alarm.
