Terri MangrumThis month we would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to our Cafeteria Plan Manager, Terri Mangrum. Terri has 20 years of experience in a variety of areas including retirement plans, cafeteria plans, payroll, human resources, and accounting. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Austin Peay State University and is Certified in Flexible Compensation through the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation.

Terri began her career at LBMC in 1994 in the firm's retirement plan department. The department later became an affiliate company and eventually its own corporation. Through this series of organizational changes, cafeteria plan administration became part of LBMC Employment Partners in 2003. Terri handles all aspects of plan management including new client set-up, non-discrimination testing, preparing plan documents, educating client contacts and employees, flexible spending, dependent care, and health reimbursement account plan administration, and regulating compliance. Sharon Powlus, a partner at LBMC, commented, "Terri is extremely competent in her field of expertise. She stays in tune with current and proposed legislature and changing trends within the industry. She is an absolute joy to work with and has made significant contributions to the success of Employment Partners."

When asked what she enjoys most about working at LBMC Employment Partners, Terri emphasized the interaction with clients and their employees. She also enjoys having the opportunity to educate them so that they can gain the most value from participating in the plans .
