Successful Outcome for Angie's Angels
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Light the Night" walk had a great turnout this past Saturday night, October 11th. Fourteen employees, along with spouses and friends, proudly showed off their matching t-shirts picturing Angelo Santos, one of the founding partners of the company. Our walkers raised $7,820 for their efforts with gracious contributions from themselves and others.
Celebrating the life of Angie, who passed away on May 13, 2008 from a form of leukemia, employees took pride in their two-mile walk around the Rockville Town Center. At the walk's conclusion, the entourage was rewarded with pizza, garlic bread, meatballs and other refreshments under a tent bearing the SantosPostal banner.
All who took part in this worthy endeavor should be proud of their support for Angie and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. SantosPostal was the ninth overall fundraiser of the top 15 that participated.
