New Controller Joins Our Team

Lisa Milne is the latest addition to SantosPostal, joining the company earlier this month. Our newest controller comes to us from her previous employer of 21 years, 12 of which she worked as a controller for the property management company. Looking for a change in her life and a position closer to home, Lisa decided to make the adjustment in her career.

A graduate of University of Maryland University College and a native of the area, Lisa shares her life with her husband and two Dachshunds. They also have a 28-year-old son, Jason, who lives in Mt. Airy, Md.

As first-time dog owners, Lisa and her husband decided to start with one puppy, but after adjusting quickly to their new lifestyle-and friends insisting their dog would be happier with a playmate-they soon adopted a second Dachshund from a shelter. Now, they're experienced and proud owners of their two "hot dog" housemates.

Lisa loves to read and take walks. She and her husband enjoy traveling, and a few years ago, they took a trip to her favorite destination, Greece. Traveling there for 15 days, the couple visited Athens and the Greek islands. Needless to say, she'd like to return.

So far, Lisa has adjusted quickly to her new surroundings. Because her former office held only about five employees at her site, joining SantosPostal with approximately six times as many co-workers may take her a bit more time to adapt. But, Lisa's initial reaction about everyone here has been positive. She considers her new co-workers hard-working, nice people.
