Inside Public Accounting's 17th Annual Report on the nation's largest accounting firms was released this month.


Singer Lewak Greenbaum & Goldstein LLP ranked
77th, up from 89 last year with growth of 32.1%. 10 top 100 firms are from California, only surpassed by New York with 20.


The report is the longest running analysis of accounting firms' operations and management, and is considered the gold standard in accounting firm benchmarking.

Scam alert: The IRS is NOT offering cash for participation in a survey

The Internal Revenue Service has issued a consumer alert regarding a new, two-step e-mail scam that falsely promises recipients they will receive $80 for participating in an online customer satisfaction survey.

In the scam, an unsuspecting taxpayer receives an unsolicited e-mail that appears to come from the IRS. The e-mail contains a URL linking to an online "Member Satisfaction Survey." Read more...
