New Standard Mileage Rates Climb Above 50 Cents Per Mile

 
The new Internal Revenue Service 2008 Standard Mileage Rates have reached a new high: the b
usiness mileage rate increases to 50 1/2 cents per mile; the medical and moving mileage rates decrease to 19 cents per mile; and the charitable mileage rate remains 14 cents per mile. As noted in the Full Article, all of these rates are effective January 1, 2008.
