Partner Gets Up-Close View of Our Sailors in Action

This time of year, it's not uncommon for an accountant to daydream about blasting off on a flight someplace where taxes and audits are a distant memory.  Our very own Scott Heintzelman got that very opportunity this past weekend, although this was no jet-setting vacation.  Scott, who is a member of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber's Military Liaison Committee, joined a delegation of community and business leaders from the Mid-Atlantic region for a hop from Norfolk Naval Air Station to the USS George Washington, a nuclear-powered carrier deployed at sea.  The mission – to showcase the importance of the Navy's mission patrolling our shipping lanes – was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  Read on for details on Scott's mission, and for more details about the Navy's mission and importance to our local economy.
