Spring 2008 Statistics of Income Bulletin Issued

The Internal Revenue Service has released the Spring 2008 issue of the Statistics of Income Bulletin. This Bulletin features preliminary data from the 138.4 million individual tax returns filed for tax year 2006 and also data on high-income returns filed for tax year 2005. This edition of the quarterly Bulletin also provides the latest view of the federal individual income tax base. Read on for more information.
