Truckers and Transportation Companies Take Note of New E-Filing Mandate

The IRS has announced that individuals and organizations with 25 or more trucks, tractors, or other heavy vehicles used on highways are now required to make their excise tax filings with the Internal Revenue Service electronically, rather than by paper.  Electronic filing proves to have many benefits.  Not only does it streamline the processing of the Form 2290, but it is also more safe and reliable than paper filing and reduces preparation and processing errors.  Read on for more details about this new e-filing mandate.
