IRS Missing Addresses for Millions in Refunds and Stimulus Checks

The Internal Revenue Service is looking for taxpayers who are missing more than 279,000 economic stimulus checks totaling about $163 million and more than 104,000 regular refund checks totaling about $103 million that were returned by the U.S. Postal Service due to mailing address errors. Commerce Department Launches EconomicRecovery.org

The U.S. Department of Commerce has launched a new website to assist Americans in getting through the current, and probably future, economic situation. The site is billed by the Department as "a resource for the American people to find help to keep their homes, find jobs and protect their savings."  It is a quick link to useful web pages sponsored by other federal agencies. The decreased value of many investors' portfolios, combined with recent tax changes, may provide some opportunities:
