| What is the main purpose of the e-Newsletter System? |
The e-Newsletter system was designed to effectively communicate with clients and friends of the firm. It is an advanced electronic system that uses push technology with HTML, knowledge-based emails. It is effectively a portable web site with various containers of information. |
| What is a container of information? |
A container is a piece of information that has its own unique buttons, which represent functionality related to that item. The system currently has the following containers:
1 – Masthead Links – Links to our web site.
2 - Custom Tool Bar – Special buttons that provide you with various options and functionality.
3 – Custom Content – Special announcements, messages and other items created by our firm to communicate to clients and friends.
4 – Content Items – Articles that reflect various interest topics, which you select.
5 – Saved Articles – A process of saving particular items of interest to access at anytime. |
| What are HTML emails? |
HTML emails are emails that contain graphic images and text as opposed to only text. |
| Can everybody receive HTML email? |
Generally, HTML emails are dependent on the email program and browser being used. Some early programs and browsers are not capable of handling HTML. For example, versions of AOL below 6.0 cannot display HTML emails. |
| What happens in the e-Newsletter System if my browser can’t display HTML emails? |
Special software enables us to determine whether each system can accept the HTML format. In the event your browser does not accept HTML, a special “Text-Only” version is automatically sent to you with a link that you can click to retrieve your e-Newsletter. Since the e-Newsletter is linked to a special address on the Web, your browser will be able to display all the information in the same manner as if you were capable of receiving HTML. |
| What are knowledge-based emails? |
Knowledge-based emails offer new ideas that help increase profits and productivity in the business and/or personal lives of our recipients. |
